NOTICE OF PUBLIC FORUM (Public Participation Hearing (PPH))

West Coast Gas Company Inc. (WCG) and the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) would like to hear from you. You are invited to participate in the PPH regarding WCG’s application to decrease rates. You can make comments and raise concerns to the CPUC Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) overseeing this application.
The PPH will be held March 23, 2021 at 6 pm via Web Cast at http://www.adminmonitor.com/ca/cpuc; via Phone at 800-857-1917, Passcode is 5180519, to make a public comment press *1 NOTE: if you need a language interpreter, please contact the CPUC’s Public Advisor’s Office using the contact information at the end of this notice at least 5 business days before the PPH. The PPH can be viewed via internet, or listened to via phone with the above information.
On 09/08/2020, WCG filed its Application A.20-09-002 with the CPUC. The application is requesting a total revenue decrease of $15,750. If WCG’s rate request is approved by the CPUC, the average monthly bill would decrease by approximately $0.37 or $4.44 per year in 2022-2024.
This application has been assigned to a CPUC ALJ who will consider the proposals and evidence presented during the formal hearing process. The proposed decision and any alternate decision will be discussed and voted upon by the CPUC Commissioners at a public CPUC Voting Meeting.
